The 2007 UCI BMX Supercross World Cup staged at Laoshan Bicycle Moto Cross (BMX) Venue opens today. In the afternoon the time trials qualification for women and men will be held. The time trials qualification for women starts at 13:00.

There are 147 riders from 24 countries and regions take part in this World Cup. This BMX track is composed of many hills with different height.  The riders will take the time trials on muddy tracks.

After the two round of qualification on the first day, the top 32 riders of the men's time trials qualification will be groupped for the quarterfinals. Each group will have 3 rounds of races. After the 3 rounds, the top 4 riders from each group will advance to the semifinals. In the semifinals, there will be also 3 rounds for each group and the top 4 riders enter the final. Only one round race for the final.

The semifinals for women's race will be held with the top 16 riders in two groups for 3 rounds. And the top 4 riders enter the final.
