Women's seeding phase Run 1: French rider first

The 2007 UCI BMX Supercross World Cup started at the Laoshan BMX Venue at 1:00 p.m. August 20. In the first round of the elite women's time trials qualification, French rider Anne-Caroline Chausson placed first with a time of 37.513secs, followed by Shanaze Reade of Great Britain and Sarah Walker of New Zealand respectively.

Two French riders showed excellent form in the first round, with Anne-Caroline Chausson finishing first and Laetitia le Corguille fourth. The US team, which has four riders ranked among the top 16 in the first round, also showed their overall strength.

The second round of the women's time trials qualification will start at 3:30 p.m. today.

The top 16 in the qualification rounds will be devided into two groups for tomorrow's semifinals, with the top four riders in each group making the finals.
