In the women's seeding phase Run 2 of the 2007 UCI BMX Supercross World Cup held this afternoon, Anne-Caroline Chausson of France remained on top of the group with a time of 37.446secs, followed by Sarah Walker of New Zealand and Shanze Reade of Great Britain.

At a press conference after the race, all top three women riders said that they liked the racing track which was excellent. As the women's event was included in the UCI BMX Supercross for the first time, they thought it was a very good attempt. Shanze Reade from Great Britain said, "The track here is superb. I feel great competing on a track like this. I like it."

Sarah Walker from New Zealand thought that this new event added to the fun for women riders. "It's a good beginning to set this new event as it will offer more choices to women riders," she said.

Talking about her impression on this tournament, Anne-Caroline Chausson said, "All work is well done. Everything is properly arranged and the track is great. I'm very happy I've come."

Having tried their runs on the track many riders said the track is challenging, particularly to women riders. It takes skill and power, As Caroline put it, "The track is indeed very difficult. But only in this way can we tell the difference of strength among the riders. Besides, it helps make the competition more intense, particularly the competition at such major world tournaments as the Olympic Games."
