In the men's final of the "Good Luck Beijing" UCI BMX Supercross World Cup this afternoon, Donny Robinson, the only American rider in the final, won with a time of 36.949secs, while Robert de Wilde of the Netherlands and Jared Graves of Australia finished second and third respectively.

Donny Robinson did not do quite well yesterday and ranked 16th with 37.366secs. At the beginning of the quarterfinals today, he was still not in form. Later, however, he managed to give a consistent performance to finish second and qualify for the finals.

In the final the American rider maintained his lead till he won the race with a powerful final spurt. Robert de Wilde, who followed suit and tried to surpass Robinson with the help of his teammate, failed to beat the American and had to be content with a silver medal.
