The 2007 UCI BMX Supercross World Cup concluded today in Beijing. In the men's final, Donny Robinson of the United States clocked 36.949secs to win by a small margin, followed by Robert De Wilde of the Netherlands and Jared Graves of Australia.

Donny Robinson said after the final that winning the title on the Olympic track "means a lot and really helps" him. Obviously the US champion is already preparing himself for winning the first Olympic BMX title next year.

Silver medalist Robert De Wilde said he was satisfied with the second place because "My bike had some problems first but did well later."

Commenting on Beijing's high temperatures, Robinson said: "My hometown in California also has such kind of weather and it makes me feel at home here. I like Beijing very much."
